The Boys are back in town, albeit a town down under…
The cast of the UK hit show SAS: Who Dares Wins has been filming a celebrity version of the Minnow Productions hit format for Channel 7 in Australia.
Following 2 weeks quarantined in Sydney, GPA exclusive client Billy Billingham MBE joined Ollie Ollerton, Jason Fox and Ant Middleton to film the new TV series ‘SAS Australia’.
Filmed in the snowy mountains of Australia – yes, ‘snowy‘ and ‘Australia‘, two words not often mentioned in the same sentence – the former Special Forces operators are putting a group of Aussie celebrities through elements based on SAS selection process.
Confirmed celebrities include:
- Schapelle Corby – Convicted Drug Smuggler
- Merrick Watts – Comedian & Broadcaster
- Roxy Jacenko – PR Queen
- Nick Cummins – Former Rugby Player
- Candice Warner – Former Ironwoman
- James Magnussen – World Champion Swimmer
- Mitchell Johnson – Cricket Legend
- Sabrina Frederick – AFLW Player
- Shayna Jack – Suspended Swim Star
As TV’s most experienced and decorated SAS leader, DS Billy will offer the celebrity recruits expert instruction and advice, sprinkled with some tough love.
Based on the UK Channel 4 series SAS: Who Dares Wins, ‘SAS Australia’ will premiere on Channel 7 in October.
