Campbell Macpherson is an author, public speaker and international business improvement expert who works with leadership teams to improve the way their organisations operate.
With over thirty years experience, Campbell’s resume is vast and varied, having worked in senior capacity for some of the world’s leading global companies, as well as entrepreneurial start-ups, improving corporate performance across Strategy, eBusiness, Marketing and HR.
Campbell Macpherson has been enabling organisations across the UK, Europe, US, Australia, Asia and the Middle East to successfully instigate sustainable change for more than twenty-five years – as an adviser, a consultant, an interim, an executive, a board member and in-house change leader.
He is currently advising the Investment Committee of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, the rold’s second largest sovereign wealth fund, on matters of strategic change. This exclusive contract ends April 2017, when he will be free to work for other clients. His previous clients included IFDS (State Street), Aviva, Friends Life, James Hay, Cofunds, iPipeline, Centaur Media and IPF.
He was Strategy Director of Zurich Global Life Emerging Markets, covering Asia, Middle East, Latam and Central & Eastern Europe.
He was the award-winning HR Director of Sesame, the UK’s largest IFA Network, having been drafted in by its parent company, Misys, to forge one company out of the five they had acquired.
He was a founder executive and Marketing Director of Virgin Wines.
He was eBusiness Director of the AMP Group covering Pearl, Virgin Direct, Henderson, Cogent and NPI. He founded a multimedia business in the 1990s and was a Senior Manager in the Change Management division of Andersen Consulting. He also flew jets (poorly) in the RAAF.
Prior to April 2014, Campbell was a regular featured writer for Money Marketing, Fundweb and Management Today.
From April 2017, he will run his international consulting business out of Oxfordshire.
