As a 110m hurdler, Jackson was ranked in the world’s top 10 for 16 years.
He was World No. 1 from 1992-1994 and never fell out of the world’s top 3 for the last seven years of his career.
While representing Great Britain and Wales, he won an Olympic silver medal, became a World Champion (twice) and a World Indoor Champion, remained undefeated at the European Championships for 12 years, and was a two-time Commonwealth Champion.
His 110 m hurdles world record of 12.91 seconds stood for over a decade. Furthermore, his 60 m hurdles world record stood for over 26 years!
