Dr Gerard Lyons is a Senior Independent Director on the Board of Bank of China (UK), where he also chairs the Risk Committee. He is also a Board Member of BGC Partners, a global brokerage firm. Furthermore, he serves as chief economic strategist at Netwealth Investments, a discretionary wealth management firm he co-founded in 2016. He plays a key role in investment strategy and economic insight.
Gerard’s deep commitment to global policy is reflected in his advisory roles. He has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment since 2008, and in 2022, joined the Climate and Energy Transition Finance (CEFT) project team at The Bretton Woods Committee.
