In May 2025, after completing his 19th season at Harlequins, Danny announced his retirement from professional rugby, marking the end of a remarkable era.

Danny won the Six Nations Championship twice, including the unforgettable Grand Slam victory in 2016. He also represented Team England at the Commonwealth Games, securing a silver medal.

At club level, Danny lifted the European Challenge Cup and played a key role in Harlequins’ Premiership title wins in 2012 and 2021.

Danny Care featured in both the 2015 and 2023 Rugby World Cups. He retired with 101 international caps, making him England’s second most-capped scrum-half in history.
