Carter began her career with IBM in San Francisco. After completing her MBA at Northwestern, she pursued her passion for diversity and multi-culturalism by co-founding The Kaleidoscope Group, a global diversity consulting firm based in Chicago.
As well as at Facebook, she has held internal senior leadership positions at companies, such as Deloitte & Touche, Denver Public Schools and Newmont Mining Corporation.
