Lara founded Pacific Direct Ltd – her first business at the age of 23 in 1991.
Pacific Direct is the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of branded amenities to the luxury hotel and cruise markets. The ‘brand boutique’ concept – miniature versions of luxury retail branded toiletry products was a first in the hotel industry,
Seventeen years later in 2008 Lara sold her majority share (99%) for the sum of £20million.

She is the author of the Amazon bestselling business book, ‘More Balls Than Most’ and was a co-founder of Start Up Britain.
