Founded in 1986 by Mills, JML was once a small family company which developed through consumer exhibitions with exciting live demonstrations of innovative products.

An economist, entrepreneur, author and lifelong Labour Party supporter, John Mills is also a former Labour Councillor in Camden and was the Deputy Chairman of the London Docklands Development Corporation from 1985 to 1987. Mills has been a Parliamentary candidate twice in 1974 and for the European Parliament in 1979.
Since 1975, John Mills has been Secretary of the Labour Euro-Safeguards Campaign and the Labour Economic Policy Group since 1985. He is also Vice Chairman of the Economic Research Council, Chairman of The Pound Campaign and Co-Chairman of Business for Britain, campaigning for renegotiation of the UK’s EU terms of membership followed by a referendum.
As an author and co-author, John Mills has written a total of nine books on economics covering the UK, Europe the USA and the world economy.
