Ian Morley is a global pioneer of the Alternative Investment industry.
He was founding Chairman of AIMA, the global trade association for the Hedge Fund industry. He has held senior international positions with major organisations before becoming a serial entrepreneur, involved with founding and building several billion dollar financial services companies. He trained as an Economist at the London School of Economics and is a member of Grays Inn.
Ian Morley is Chairman of specialist consulting firm focused on the Alternative Investment Industry, a Senior Consultant at AllenbridgeEpic investment advisers. He is a Director of Poggio della Madonna, Crowthorne Capital and Condor Trade. He is a Consultant to Castellain Capital, Global Economic adviser to CSWM, and Special Consultant to the IOM Funds Management Association.
He is an Industrial fellow at Kingston Business School where he taught a Hedge Fund module on the MA in Strategic Finance.
He has advised Central Banks, International Regulators, the EU, OECD and many others on matters relating to Hedge Funds and regulation.
He is a member of the Foreign Press Association and is regularly sought after as a writer and speaker on matters of finance and economics. Morley frequently appears in the media and speaks and Chairs conferences all over the world.
