Eddie Jones is the current head coach of the England national rugby union team.
A very successful international rugby coach, Eddie coached Australia to the 2003 Rugby World Cup final.
Prior to coaching England, Eddie coached the Japan national team for three years leading up to the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Whilst with the Japan squad, he masterminded the greatest upset of all time as the Japanese overcame the might of the Springboks.
A successful player prior to coaching, Eddie Jones began playing rugby at Matraville High School alongside future rugby legends David Knox and the Ella brothers.
He represented Randwick, New South Wales and the Australian Barbarians before hanging up his boots and focusing on his career as a teacher and school Principal.
In 2015, Eddie Jones joined the England national team as the team’s first non-English coach. Jones replaced Stuart Lancaster, becoming one of the highest paid head coaches in rugby.
