During the 2010 UK General Election, Darren was called upon by the media to offer his analysis of the body language and communication style of the three party leaders during the televised electoral debates. Lie Detection:
The human face has 7 universal expressions of emotion, Happy, Sad, Fear, Surprise, Anger, Contempt and Disgust.
In any given situation, we all flash one of these expressions for a fraction of a second. They are a totally unconscious response and cannot be faked even by accomplished liars. They are called Micro Expresions. When people lie they cannot help themselves showing their true emotions. They demonstrate what is really happening on the inside. Scientists have discovered that during any 10 minute conversation the average person tells at least 3 lies.
